Ed Evans, Senior Hydrogeologist
Ed Evans joins the Flood Project as a 20+ year Washoe County employee most recently with Water Resources. Ed's role at the Flood Project is to manage, maintain and improve the more than 50 gage Flood Warning System and to assist in the development of the Flood Project's new restoration monitoring program.
In addition to the Flood Warning System, Ed has been responsible for surface water monitoringprograms, groundwater quantity and quality monitoring programs, locating new groundwater supplies and managing turn-key capital projects.
Ed holds a degree in Geology from the University of Nevada, Reno.
