Geno Martini
Geno Martini, voting member of the Flood Project Coordinating Committee and Mayor of the City of Sparks
Mayor Martini was appointed to the Sparks City Council representing Ward 3, which includes the Sparks industrial area that was particularly hard-hit by previous floods. Re-elected in June, 2001 and again in November, 2004, Mr. Martini was elected Sparks Mayor Pro Tem by the City Council in July, 2003 and served in that capacity until February 22, 2005 when he was sworn in as Mayor. Mayor Martini is a life-long resident of Sparks and a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno. He is also active in a number of civic organizations:

- Joint Sewer Coordinating Committee
- Debt Management Commission
